Mounting a TV above the fireplace is one of the most popular looks in modern homes — it's a clean, space-saving focal point. But it's also one of the trickiest installs, with three things to get right: height, heat and glare.
SharpStage gets all three right. We set the screen at a comfortable viewing height, account for the heat rising off the fireplace, and position the TV to minimise glare from windows and light. We mount securely on brick, stone, concrete and tiled fireplace surrounds with the proper anchors — and a tilt or full-motion mount can angle the screen down for easier viewing from the couch.
Wood-burning or electric? It matters for both the method and the price. A wood-burning fireplace is usually brick, stone or masonry and throws real heat, so it needs masonry anchors and heat-aware placement — that one carries a small specialty-wall surcharge. An electric fireplace is almost always set into a standard drywall wall and produces very little heat, so it is mounted and priced as a normal drywall install with no fireplace surcharge at all. Just tell us which you have and we'll confirm the exact price before we start.
